Our son and his wife decided that they would move to Tennessee. Since we had moved to Illinois to be near them, we decided to move to Tennessee also. So, Cassie set up an MLS search for properties matched our criteria. After seeing a few properties, she had a better understanding of what we liked and found us a property that checked almost all of the boxes (no lakefront in the mountains?) and was well within our budget. There are people in this world who say they are going to do something, and people who actually DO IT! Our realtor, Cassie King Hollis, not only does what she says, but does it 200%. We met Cassie and her husband Patrick at an open house in October. We told them we wouldnt be putting out house on the market Until January because we were on a 2 month waiting list to get some repairs done to the house (contractors are hard to find in Chattanooga due to being backed up by the tornado). She learned very quickly what we were looking for and very naturally began getting to know us and the feeling was mutual, the more we interacted, the comfortable, we all became! Next thing you know we received a full price offer on Monday the 24th of August and went under contract on August 25th, then Saturday the 12th of September we made an offer, over the phone, on on our new home in Tennessee. We enjoyed dinner and checking out the sites with her too! We headed back to New Hampshire, finished packing up and loaded up and drove down, parked the truck and trailer in our new driveway. Then checked into a hotel for the night and on Friday the 9th of October, we had a walk through and began moving in. We rented for a few days and closed on our home up North on the 14th of October and closed on our new home that Friday the 16th. That has been almost 4 weeks ago! Tempus Fugit Time Flys!!
